What is your foundation? When things don’t go your way or the day doesn’t go as you planned how do you stay focused? For me God is the head of my life and I must start my day in prayer, just take a time for myself and be grateful for waking me up.

I read in a book by Anthony Robbins that in every journey you begin with one step. Everyone is going through something, but it’s at the moment when you decide (cut off) any thing in your mind that limits you from achieving your goals or plans. You tell yourself I will work toward my plans, I will start again. I will just start.

I was inspired to blog today when a close friend shared what he was going through in relocating to Atlanta, Ga and how in his past life he had all the toys and nice home and now he is in a place were God is working in his like. On 04/14/2013 I lost my job, how do I remember? It was my daughter birthday, I was a company man I was sailing more cars and lived at the dealership, I missed more kid’s events but I was ok because I was making money. Now I was out a job and looked back at all the time I missed with them. I had to fall back on my foundation, and focus on something else because God had plans for me. I will one day blog more in details about my experience on my job and how change in management can affect ones career. I am learning how to find my purpose and in this search I want to share what I have learned in reading a article by Paula Boon. In her article she talked about how every January we tend to make new year resolutions and get a wave of ambition and desire to lost weight or make money or find that dream job. But its hard to do when all those plans and schemes are swirling in our heads. With internet marketing or MLM we can get side track if we don’t start making money fast, we tend to quite. Here’s a 12 step road map to get exactly where you want to go this year.

1. Determine your path commit to action begin

• State a note book - I take notes of my mentors then I share with my team things I learn.

• Promise yourself that you will focus on your passion this year

Today I was reading an article and the person said something that I have been reading a lot since I have been building my online business, the person said that the money you will make and the people you help and serve is connected to your personal value.

How can a person succeed online or offline? According to the information above you must help people or serve people and build value in helping people and if they benefit you will grow your income. Do you think this is true?

Lets see how this works, when I buy something or see a movie and enjoy the movie I tell my family and friends then they go watch the movie or eat at the restaurant I recommended. I think that we must have a great mind set when starting a business. We will not always get the results we are after when we start that business, so it is important to have the right mind set that can help you continue when everyone has jumped out or have a negative review of what your doing.

#1 Mind Set- There is no reason that success can’t happen to you or me. This is a true statement if you have the right state of mind you will make things happen. Example I purchased a book I was not getting the results but as I reread the information I was not putting the information into action, so was the program not working or was I not working the program?

You have to have the ability to take action and believe in your outcome. I have been with an online business now for a year GDI (Global Domain International) and when I first stated I was getting people in left and right, then when people started dropping out I started to get discourage, but the company kept growing and somebody somewhere was working the business, I just had to keep plugging at building my business. I started to look for people like me people that wanted to make money. If a person is looking for a job that person is different from a person looking for a home business, and they hang in different forums on the internet.

In closing a person must keep a mind set that they can succeed and the commitment to post something daily or put an ad out daily or tweet or communicate about your business and watch your business grow.

I have been involved in an internet marketing business now for two years and I enjoy sharing the things that I have learned with the people in my organization or people on my list.

So how do you master your internet business? This is a question I asked myself today and the answer came to me in a book I was reading by OG Mandino: The Greatest Salesman in the World. In Chapter 13 he says I will be the master of my emotions. How can we master those emotions? Your mind tends to draft when you don’t get the results we are looking for, then we called the program we are with a scam! But did we put the work in to get the results?

Og Mandino says “Today I will master my emotions. It is nature’s trick. Little understood, that each day I awaken with moods that have changed from yesterday. Yesterday’s joy will become today’s sadness: yet today’s sadness will grow into tomorrow’s joy. And how will I master these emotions so that each day will be productive? For unless my mood is right the day will be a failure. Trees and plants depend on the weather to flourish but I make my own weather, yea I transport it with me.”

In my career as a sales consultant I have learned with the help of this book to master my emotions, and know that people we talk to are emotional people they may say “no” today and yes tomorrow but they wont say yes or no if I don’t present my business to them.

I know that if you put in a little work on a daily basis that you will soon get the results you are looking for. I like to read books on ways to grow my business, I go to the library to get books, I have brought a few eBooks, but the most important thing I have learned is to take action until I get the results I am after then do them again, then teach someone to duplicate my results.


Og Mandino in his book “The Greatest Salesman in the world” wrote - If I bring rain and gloom and darkness and pessimism to my customers then they will react with rain and gloom and darkness and pessimism and they will purchase naught.” We have a great opportunity to help people on the internet and help people in person, just don’t stop promoting your business and learn different marketing techniques then add value to your team.
